How does a Suzuki Extended Warranty work?
When the warranty on your Suzuki comes to an end you can opt to extend your cover for another year. An extended warranty is an insurance product that can help protect both your car and your wallet against unexpected mechanical and electrical component failure.
Depending on your level of cover (Suzuki offers Comprehensive, Select and Basic), an extended warranty will protect you against the factory-fitted failures such as electric window motors, fuel injection pumps, power steering racks, gearbox selector mechanisms, driveshafts, cylinder head gaskets and in-car radios/CD/DVD player.
The insurance pays for the cost of the parts required to repair your car as well as the associated Dealer labour costs.

What is covered by a Suzuki Extended Warranty?

What isn’t covered by a Suzuki Extended Warranty?
We all know the miles add up as our cars get older, and this leads to some of the mechanical components wearing out. So if a part on your Suzuki needs replacing due to wear and tear, it won’t be covered by our Extended Warranty.
Is an Extended Warranty worth the cost?
Yes, the cost of extended warranty is good value when you consider the level of cover available should it be needed. If you break the price down, around 38p* per day means many repair bills (including labour) for unexpected electrical or mechanical component failure could be taken care of.
Engine, gearbox and turbo chargers are examples of the potentially very costly items to repair and which are covered by all the warranties in our range. You can then choose to include items such as electric windows, motors, CD players and air conditioning units to suit your budget.

Are there any cancellation charges?
There is no additional charge to cancel a Suzuki Extended Warranty, all available policies are flexible and can be cancelled at any time.
Can I pass on the warranty when I sell my car?
As we offer a monthly “pay as you go” option if you only want to take out cover for 5 months, that’s fine with us. You just set up your Direct Debit with us and keep it going until you want to cancel.
Of course, if you’d prefer to take out a 12 month warranty and pay a one off fee, then this is fine too.
